Ready or not, petals, November has already welcomed us into its steadily darkening fold; a month for tough stuff (isn't it always? it can certainly feel that way…) and transformation as the world withers all around.  For those sensitive to the pulse of the world and filled with trepidation, remember that through rot comes rebirth and that, sometimes, all it really does take is a deep inhale of autumn air to reset and regroup—so get out there and fill your lungs, if you have the blessing and privilege to. 

Save the date! We will be hosting our third annual ‘Marché Nocturne d’Automne’ (Nocturnal Autumn Market) at our studio–boutique on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18TH. Come celebrate the arrival of autumn with us, and stock up on a wide array of fall offerings and botanical brews from a variety of cherished local vendors.

We can't hide it; the arrival of Fall has us giddy. Reaching for warm, spiced beverages while cocooned in swaths of woven yarns, we are, for the most part, faithful devotees to the romanticism of the season, gladly distracted from the waning of daytime by brilliant displays of garnet and citrine and wafts of drying grasses, autumnal treats, and organic decay.

The green witch and herbal aficionado would agree: the cure to what ails you is often at hand’s reach, and the layman or unfamiliar garden-tender would do well to differentiate detrimental weeds from familiar and friendly faces. After all; as the land begins to stir following a period of frigid dormancy, so too does its inhabitants, eager to Spring back into action while simultaneously needing supplemental nutrients and support to do so.
