We can't hide it; the arrival of Fall has us giddy. Reaching for warm, spiced beverages while cocooned in swaths of woven yarns, we are, for the most part, faithful devotees to the romanticism of the season, gladly distracted from the waning of daytime by brilliant displays of garnet and citrine and wafts of drying grasses, autumnal treats, and organic decay.
Folklore from the Garden
The green witch and herbal aficionado would agree: the cure to what ails you is often at hand’s reach, and the layman or unfamiliar garden-tender would do well to differentiate detrimental weeds from familiar and friendly faces. After all; as the land begins to stir following a period of frigid dormancy, so too does its inhabitants, eager to Spring back into action while simultaneously needing supplemental nutrients and support to do so.

Florals? For Spring? While far from groundbreaking, you won’t see us making any complaints. The winters here waver between dazzling white and dull gray, burying the landscape for so many months that it can be hard to remember what life looks like when it is permitted to be delicate.
