A recipe torn from our book of love spells, to carve out space for creating beauty and seeking refuge within its embrace. This indulgent blend isn't meant for every day, but is a potent petition to Aphrodite in order to connect with the pulse of pleasure when our spirits are weary.
I. IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL, COMBINE…
¼ cup Himalayan Pink Salt
¼ cup Epsom Salt
1 TBSP Jasmine buds
2 TBSP Rose buds
6 drops of diluted Rose absolute
(1-2 drops if undiluted )
(1-2 drops if undiluted )
2 drops of Geranium eo
6 drops of Frankincense Sacra eo
2 drops Cardamom eo
Optional: add ¼ citric acid and ¼ cup baking soda for effervescence (the bath bomb ‘fizz’)
II. TO A LARGE POT, ADD & SIMMER…
3 litres (approx. 13 cups) of water
5 TBSP Rose petals
1 TBSP Damiana leaf
2 TBSP Hibiscus flower
Simmer for 10 mins to brew a concentrated tea before straining out leaf and flowers.
Finally, add parts 1 (your perfumed salt and flower blend) and 2 (your hot infusion) to a warm bath.
